What is it?
A Process Inline dryer is continuous dryer which is a device used to reduce the moisture content in precision manner of process chemicals/ dyes/ pigments/ drugs, etc., It achieves this by evaporating water, typically through the application of heat, often indirectly, and then drying the remaining solids in much more controlled environment.
Purpose :
- Reduce Moisture : This aim to decrease the moisture of material, making it more adaptive to continuous process rather than batch type and tray dryers. It helps to be manageable for storage, transportation, and packing or Dispatch to reuse.
- Produce a Stabilized Product : Drying can result in a stabilized product, meaning it's less likely to be putrescent, free of moisture and in isolated manner reduces the chance of decomposition if any.
- Prepare for Further Treatment : Dried material may be more suitable for next steps in pipeline like bag filling, packing.
- Enhance Handling : Drying can convert the material into a more manageable, dry, granular material, easier to handle and transport than a wet slurry.
How it Works?
We at Malhari Projects, designed Process Inline Dryers with high drying potentials, from fast, accelerated drying to gentle, prolonged drying. A radiating dryer is widely used in industries such as Chemicals, Dyes & Pigments, ETP, CETP, Pharmaceuticals, APIs, Formulations, food & drugs, Municipals, etc. For hyper-critical processes, we also provide a vacuum-based model.
Our Process Inline dryers work by using radiation to evaporate moisture from material, in a totally controllable environment which eliminates the risk of decomposition and reducing its volume and weight. This process, called Inline Drying, is a key step in Process engineering, making it easier to store, transport, and potentially use the material in various applications.
The feed with high moisture content is dropped from the hopper into the Dryer. This material is conveyed in the chamber from one end to another end. Meanwhile, during the travel length the material is exposed to radiations which helps to reduce the moisture and makes it granular or powder form at the end.
Product Sizing :
- 50 Kg/Hr to 1000 Kg/hr. Inlet Moisture: >80%. And Outlet Moisture: <10%.
